Learn how to add documents to ADKN

Created on 30 Nov 2007 by Marcus Williamson

The philosophy of ADKN is to capture user-generated content. In ADKN, users are able to contribute knowledge directly

To allow this, users with 'publisher' status can upload documents to the document library quickly and easily, without having to send files to the facilitators or IT experts. This is done using a simple uploading tool, shown here:

To learn how to use this tool, read the tutorial.

Learn how to add articles to ADKN

Created on 30 Nov 2007 by Marcus Williamson

One of the most powerful features of ADKN is that any user with 'publisher' status can add their own articles to the site, using a simple mini-word processor that is built into the site, as shown below:

ADKN users can therefore create articles about their own work, organizations and projects without relying on web designers and IT departments, or other specialists.

To learn how to make articles, read the tutorial.

Document Libarary Tutorial

ADKN allows you to upload any document to the site. This can then be accessed within the site, and you can also copy the URL so that you can link to it from other parts of the site, on other websites or in emails. Using the ADKN document library is a great way to share documents and to avoid sending people emails with big attachments.

But how do you use it? Read this tutorial to find out how!

Articles Tutorial

ADKN’:s most powerful functionality is the ability to make articles. These are stand-alone web pages that you make using a mini-word processor. What makes the functionality so powerful is that you can inlude pictures and links (both to other things in ADKN or external websites). This means that you can make web pages with organizational profiles, project information, interviews, perspectives, and pretty much anything else that comes to mind!

The functionality for making articles is really simple, but if you want hep, read this tutorial to learn more.
